TRUST THE INVITE

Private means private.

Yakparty separates host authority from guest access and keeps private invitations out of public discovery by default.

Capability-protected invites

Private pages require a long, unguessable invite token. The ordinary event URL returns Not Found.

Host tools require a session

Creating, editing, exporting, cloning, and changing visibility require an authenticated host account tied to the event.

Links can be revoked

Hosts can reset a private invite link. The previous link immediately stops opening the event and its calendar or QR resources.

Private pages stay out of search

Private invitations emit no-index directives and use private, no-store responses for capability-bound resources.

GOOD GUEST HYGIENE

Treat the invite like the address.

Send private invitation links only to people who should have the event details. If a link reaches the wrong place, ask the host to rotate it. Avoid posting guest information, private addresses, or another person’s contact details in comments.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

Plan openly. Share deliberately.

Start private, invite intentionally, and make the event public only when that is the point.
